About me
Laura Mooney is an accomplished educator of 33 years in both public and private institutions. She has a magnetic style that builds trusting relationships with students to ensure their success. Her effective teaching methods produce continuous student learning. Laura holds a Master of Education in Principalship from Southwestern Assemblies of God University that underlines her commitment to lifelong learning, academic excellence, leadership development, and mentoring. Although recently retired from full-time classroom teaching, Laura remains committed to cultivating another generation of successful students and future educators who fulfill their potential. Laura continues to teach history online to middle schoolers and serves as a University Supervisor for the Missouri State University history department. Apart from her educational endeavors, Laura has been actively engaged in ministry for over 36years alongside her husband. She cherishes spending quality time with her husband, Jay Mooney, and their 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
